Advanced Balboa w/ Bobby White

In our advanced class, we play with the most difficult concepts in Bal-Swing today, focused on high-level leading & following, rhythmic play, improvisation, and expression. You will be asked to occasionally switch roles to help better understand leading and following, and class will involve constant jamming.
Pre-Requisites: Students must have a fundamental understanding of Pure Balboa single time & double time basics, Pure Bal adlibs, Out & Ins, Toss Outs, Lollies, Swivels, Texas tommy, Promenade, and be comfortable dancing those steps at 200 BPM.

COVID POLICY
Masks are required for this class. All students are required to be fully vaccinated & must be able to show proof at time of check-in. Fully vaccinated means it has been 2 weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.
Boosters are fully encouraged. Additional constraints can be added depending on the instructor’s preference.
