Blues Workshop w/ Shawn & Flouer

Shawn Hershey & Flouer Evelyn are teaming up to teach four delicious hours of Blues Dance workshops for you at La Nacional after BDNY’s monthly Friday dance with live music.
The story:
We got hired to teach in Switzerland together in September, and we haven’t taught together in a long time. We would like to teach in NYC, and we would love for you to come dance with us. So we are having this workshop.What we will be teaching:
The concept of the workshop is less talking and more dancing. We will use a lot of imagery and repetition of movement to get you to feel your body again, connect with yourself, and connect with your partner. We think it will be really fun and that you will probably feel amazing afterwards. But that’s just our opinion.

DETAILS
- You do not have to bring a partner to participate.
- This is all levels, but some prior blues experience is a plus.
More experienced students will sometimes be put in groups together so that they can work on material at a higher level. Don’t worry, we will challenge you!
