Introducing “Dance at Dusk” Brooklyn’s first monthly Fusion Dance gathering at the @Geminiandscorpioloft This style is a magnificent blend of all types of dance coming together to create a fluid improvisational partner dance. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a newbie looking to learn how to move your feet, this style is inclusive for all because of its diverse nature. This lovely Thursday night event is perfect for a date night, a night out with friends or a some weekday fun that will get you home by midnight! Solo folks are also welcome as traditionally dance partners will rotate through the night!
We kick off each event with an introductory dance lesson which will focus on some basics of the dance style followed by a consent talk. Afterwards, let loose on the open dance floor as our talented rotating cast of Dj’s send us through the night! This event is specifically inclusive of all gender, queer and POC backgrounds, so whoever you are, dress to express yourself and dance the night away!
