Intermediate Balboa w/ Bobby White

In this intermediate-level class, we dive deeper into Balboa and Bal-Swing with other fundamental moves both old and new, and go deeper into improvisation and play. You will be asked to occasionally switch roles to help better understand leading and following (don’t worry, it’s fun. You’ll be great.)January’s topic will be the moves and movement of great old timers. We’ll see their dancing and then try it on for size.

Pre-requisite: Students must have a fundamental understanding of Pure Balboa single time & double time basics, Pure Bal adlibs, Out & Ins, Toss Outs and Lollies and be comfortable dancing those steps at 180 BPM.

Fully vaccinated means it has been 2 weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.

Boosters are fully encouraged. Additional constraints can be added depending on the instructor’s preference.
