We’re thrilled to welcome All-Star and current U.S. Open Rising Star Champion Kyle FitzGerald to NYC! Kyle is an accomplished dancer and a highly-experienced dance instructor who teaches in Toronto and at major dance conventions like Canadian Swing Championships.
French All-Star Mélodie Paletta will assist Kyle in his workshops.

Flow Fridays is NYC’s largest WCS party! Join us for incredible dancing, music, free open bar with cocktail special, and a social dance demo with Kyle & Mélodie!
Saturday
• 2-3pm – Solo Drills to Make You a Better Dancer
In this class, we focus on a series of carefully-curated drills to boost your WCS abilities. These drills are tools for isolating and practicing individual components of the dance.
• 3:10-4:30pm – J&J Strategies to Stand-Out in Novice & Intermediate Prelims & Finals
Deep-dive into what judges are looking for at WSDC Novice and Intermediate levels and what it takes to do well. We’ll also discuss common challenges that leaders and followers face in prelims and finals at Nov/Int levels.
• 4:40-6pm – Spotlight Critique
Dance in a spotlight format in front of your peers and receive coaching from Kyle. No partner required to register. You’ll be paired with someone at a similar competitive level.
NYC Swings will provide locally-brewed craft coffee, tea, and light snacks for intensive attendees. All classes will have 10 minute breaks in-between.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Kyle will have limited private lessons slots available. Private lessons are 55 min at $75 + $25 floor fee. We’ll schedule lessons first-come, first-serve. If spots sell out, we’ll add you to a waitlist.
