6:30-7:30pm – Swing Basics
Learn lead/follow techniques. Develop the basic patterns of Swing and an introduction to patterns. These techniques can be applied to more specific swing styles like The Lindy Hop, The Collegiate Shag, The Balboa and WCS
7:30-8:30pm – Lindy Hop
We’ll begin with the classic solo jazz steps of the Lindy Hop. Then an introduction into partnering. We’ll cover classic patterns with a focus on the Lindy Circle, Boomerang, Swing Out plus transition steps
8:30-9:30pm – Charleston
Learn both solo jazz patterns and partnering patterns based on the Charleston and Black Bottom. Great for the Roaring 20s celebrations. The Line Dance Charleston Stroll is included in this series.
