ABOUT THE EVENT
We are ecstatic to present ZOUK AND BACHATA FRIDAYS on the 3rd Friday of the month and the reconnection of these two amazing dance scenes ZOUK AND BACHATA in collaboration with Bachata Rosa. Zenzouk and Bachata Rosa will be splitting the ballroom in 1/2 to create an amazing cross culture environment of our dance scenes and two different parties EVERY THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH. Just like the hey days of Bachata and Zouk integration on Friday evenings that held an amazing vibe, we wish to bring it back only with a bigger ballroom for Zouk!. We WELCOME all of you to come out to our opening night and let’s once again get our beautiful communities dancing in an amazing spot and location once again! We await in anticipation to dance with you together again! Please join us for our ZOUK and Bachata Workshops before hand!

WORKSHOPS:

Brazilian Zouk founded on the roots of Lambada will be taught every third Friday with Two workshops staring at 8:00 PM. We will be alternating instructors and levels to provide diversity in learning. This coming Friday join Vinny and his team assistant who will be kicking off the festivities! More info on topics coming. Note if you were at class on Saturday these topics will be different with the exception of some basics in the beginning.

8:00 PM – Bachata Speciality Footwork Workshop with Ana Sophia
9:00 PM – Bachata Level 1,2,3
For Bachata, 3 Levels of classes will be provided at 9 which is included in the party entrance.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

ABOUT VINNY
Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Vinny (aka the Unicorn’s Apprentice) began his dancing with Salsa in 2012. Originally, dance was more of a side passion, until 2014 when he fell into the rabbit hole that is Brazilian Zouk. Training extensively under Henri Velandia and Jessica Lamdon of ZenZouk, in addition to other prominent international instructors, Vinny became deeply immersed in the dance and culture of Brazilian Zouk. Vinny is now an active member of the NYC Zouk community who hosts events, teaches, and DJs at home and at other national zouk events and festivals. Armed with an infectious smile and abundant energy, Vinny lights up both the classroom and dance floor wherever he goes.
