NYC Brazilian Zouk Dance Classes & Events

Solas has been a staple of NYC's zouk scene for the better part of a decade, and remains a great event for its fun environment and traditional Caribbean and Brazilian vibes!

Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance which began in Brazil during the early 1990s. It evolved from the partner dance known as Lambada. Some characteristics are overall plasticity of body and head movements, isolations, off axis turns, counterbalances, as well as the range of musical genres it is danced to.
