West Coast Swing at Big Apple Ballroom

Join us for another great Monday of learning and dancing! Sophie Cazeneuve will be teaching our lessons at 7:30 and 8:30 and spinning tunes from 9:30 to 11. Come join us for a great night of fun and friends!

West Coast Swing is one of the hottest social dances in the world today. Dancers love finding ways to improv on the floor together, and dance to modern music like Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop. You will also hear Blues, Soul, and Acoustic music on a typical setlist, so there’s lots of different ways to explore the movement and have a great time! If you like music, you are sure to like West Coast Swing. Our Intro lesson is focused on beginners, so it’s the perfect place to learn if it’s your first time trying West Coast Swing!

No previous dance experience or partner needed. Just bring yourself and clothes you feel comfortable moving in!

SCHEDULE

West Coast Swing 1 (Basics): 7:30 – 8:30pm

West Coast Swing 2: 8:30-9:30pm

Social Dancing: 9:30 – 11:00pm

PRICE

$30 for the class (social included), $15 for just the dance.

WSDC All-Star and Advanced dancers are eligible for free admission to the social.
