West Coast Swing at Big Apple Ballroom with Sophie Cazeneuve

West Coast Swing is one of the hottest social dances in the world today. Dancers love finding ways to improv on the floor together, and dance to modern music like Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop. You will also hear Blues, Soul, and Acoustic music on a typical setlist, so there’s lots of different ways to explore the movement and have a great time! If you like music, you are sure to like West Coast Swing. Our Intro lesson is focused on beginners, so it’s the perfect place to learn if it’s your first time trying West Coast Swing!

• Monday 7:30pm – West Coast Swing Level 1
  • West Coast Swing patterns and technique. Suitable for all levels. Signing up for the class covers you for the party at 9:30pm so you don’t need to register for both.
• Monday 8:30pm – West Coast Swing Level 2
  • West Coast Swing 2 is a continuation of the “Basics” class with more advanced patterns and partnering. Signing up for this class includes the party afterwards so you don’t need to register for both.
• Wednesday 8:30pm – West Coast Swing Level 3
  • Moves to Thursdays in October
