Our home base in Midtown Manhattan, Danznik Studios is a partner to NYC's swing dance community, providing world-class space with sprung floors, premium sound and lighting systems, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Midtown Swings

Midtown Swings is a partnership between celebrated Lindy Hop scene leaders Gaby Cook and AJ Howard with Danznik Studios. Together, we are committed to providing the highest quality group classes and social dances possible, to bolster New York's already thriving Lindy Hop community.

Jes Ann Nail

Jes is a full time teaching artist, teaching Art, Dance, Yoga, Cheerleading and Gymnastics to K-8th graders in public schools in Brooklyn, NY. Her love for WCS continues to grow as she travels all over the world teaching, performing, DJing, judging, and competing.

Swingiversity

Swingiversity is a collective of instructors offering progressive WCS classes that provide a fun and social way to ease into partner dancing.

John Festa

John Festa has popularized swing dancing – both Lindy and WCS – in New York City and nationally, serving in different roles from competitor, DJ, event promoter, and teacher. He is a founding member of the Gotham Swing Club and the Liberty Swing Dance Championships.

Dimitri Hector

Dimitri is a highly skilled West Coast Swing competitor, teacher, and a freelance classical dance artist. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to both the dance floor and the classroom. With a compassionate approach and a fun-loving atmosphere, Dimitri fosters an environment where dancers of all levels can thrive and grow in their artistic journeys.

Bring Your Own Tiles (BYOT) is a grassroots, community-driven effort that hosts free outdoor pop-up dance events.

Nina is New York City–based photographer specializing in personal and business branding, portraits, and events. She is known in the swing dance community for capturing powerful and expressive moments on the dance floor.
