Soul Sunday: West Coast Swing Social

A monthly indoor picnic and West Coast Swing social! Fill your Soul by Gathering & Sharing together in this afternoon event. Featuring rotating DJs, pop-up learning sessions, and a potluck picnic.

Bring a friend, bring something to share! “we all have something to bring and share with others”. 

We’ll have tables set up for a picnic area to gather together, so feel free to bring an activity or snack/food to share. The social is included with our Beginner Boot Camp, so this afternoon is also a wonderful time to meet new dancers and welcome them into the community. Come dance and share in friendship together. Schedule – 

• 3:00–5:00pm – WCS Beginner Boot Camp with Jes Ann + Lauryn Sperling (separately ticketed)
• 3:15–4:00pm – Level 2+ Workshop with Dario Haxhia (included with Social admission) 
• 4:15–5:00pm – Level 2+ Guided Practice with Orian & Bekah and David & Sydney (included with Social admission) 
• 5:00–8:00pm – Social dance with Community DJs [Bekah / Alesia / Peter]
• 6:00–7:00pm – Instructors available for $10 for 10’s (Quick Feedback/Tuneup Sessions) sign-up in person!

Class Descriptions

3-5pm • Beginner Boot Camp

Launch into West Coast Swing in an all-inclusive boot camp. Go from zero experience to a strong foundation with expert instruction in just two hours. You will learn the basics and fundamentals of West Coast Swing, with ample time for practice and application. For the best preparation before Level 2, take the Beginner Boot Camp twice, or pair it with a month of our Level 1 classes. No partner or experience needed.

3:15-4pm • Level 2+ Workshop

Join Dario Haxhia for a learning session, topic coming soon. Must be comfortable with all 6-count and 8-count basics. 

4:15-5pm • Unlocking Movements – Guided Practice

Level 2+ dancers, join Orian & Bekah, and David & Sydney for a guided practice session to focus on unlocking movements in your dance. We will workshop patterns by working from both leader and follower perspective to help connection and timing in your favorite patterns. Come with ideas for what you’d like to work on!
